New Construction townhouses are being offered for sale in the beach community in Oceanside, California.  The townhouses at 517 N Freeman Street are located north of the Oceanside Pier and feature a roof top ocean view deck and walk to the beach location.  The townhouses feature a total of 3 units in the building with one 3 bedroom unit and two 2 bedroom units which are oriented towards the ocean.  These are very nice houses with rich hardwood flooring, granite countertops with all appliances expect for the refrigerator included in the sales price.  The second and third floor units even come with their own balances that overlook the ocean.

Oceanside, California has a wide variety of single family and residential condos for sale that were custom built with traditional building methods.  One alternative to this is using a modular home that comes already custom built and is ready to put on any given lot.  This is the case for one home that is currently being offered for sale in the Oceanside beach community just south of the Oceanside Pier area.  The offering is very unique as the custom lot already features a home that was built in the 1930's that offers wonderful wood beam ceilings and custom fireplace.  The adjoining detached modular home is located on the same 9,000 square foot lot offering dual houses on one lot.  It is being advertised as being able to live in one of the houses while

It seems like a lot of buyers are looking for fixer upper homes in today's market, especially when they can purchase a home for under market value.  Oceanside does have a small number of properties that do need TLC and often sold "as-is" to the buyer.  Since most fixer upper properties can potentially require a lot of work and a lot of money a lot of buyers are looking for a cosmetic fixer upper.  A cosmetic fixer upper is basically a property that requires less work than a traditional fixer upper property.  This can range from changing the paint color or removing outdated wallpaper or carpet.  These homes are normally not discounted as much but still provide an excellent opportunity to buy at a slightly reduced rate.

It's been nearly 18 months since we have seen a listing in the Marina Towers building in Oceanside, California.  The Marina Towers sits majestically by itself next to the Oceanside Marina with condos offering panoramic Ocean Views.  Real Estate prices in the past have been mid $600,000 range with a current listing at $674,888.  The condo features two bedrooms, two baths with 1,364 square feet of living space and great views of the ocean.  The condo also features a large kitchen area with breakfast bar and quartz counter tops.  The unit has floor to ceiling windows which really talk in the view which also includes a large deck area.

Many love to live by the beach in Oceanside, California as many of the top condo buildings area located within a close proximity to the Oceanside Pier and the sandy beach.  Finding single family homes located within a three blocks radius to the beach can be tough unless you know where to look.  One of our favorite neighborhoods is located on the north side of the Pier and called the Pacific Village community.  These are really great curb appeal and were built approximately 15 years ago and are built in the row style.  The two story residences feature high ceilings, gated entrance, open floor plans and gourmet kitchens.  One of the best features of these homes is the close proximity to the beach as it's just three short blocks to the Pacific Ocean.

The Lake Shore Villas is a nice condo complex located north of the 76 freeway in Oceanside, California.  Located at 509 Calle Montecito, Oceanside, the condos sit next to Libby Lake and offer nice 2 bedrooms condos.  The units often include a good size living and dining room, private balcony and interior washer/dryer.  The master bedroom comes with their own bath that includes a combination of tub and shower and often come with walk-in closets.  The Lakeshore Villas community offers a nice community pool, spa and children's play area for it's residents that included in the monthly homeowners association dues of $250.00 a month.  The dues also include hot water, sewer and roof maintenance.  For more information on the Lake Shore Villas complex please call

The downtown area of Oceanside is a very vibrant area with small and high rise condo buildings that offer panoramic views of the ocean.  Condos will normally start in the low $400,000 range for a small one bedroom condo located just blocks to the beach and offers peek views of the ocean.  There are several buildings in the downtown area that are worth being aware of when doing your real estate search for an ocean view condo.

The first building is the North Coast Village condo community.  This is almost like a small mini resort that is located directly on the beach and is home to a large number of condos that form around the central community pool area.  This is a gated community with strict entrance for non-residents and features a nice clubhouse,

The Dixie Village is one of the newest communities in the Oceanside area with two story homes that are currently under construction.  There is a total of 3 different floor plans that will be offered here that will feature three to five bedrooms and range from 1,961 to 2,471 square feet.  A total of 35 detached residential homes will be built here that offer a lot of unique selling points.  One of the best features is location of the garage which is situated in the back of the lot.  This is often not done here by the beach but offers better curb appeal as the garage can't be seen from the street level.

The Dixie Village community has a great concept with central courtyards and classic Mediterranean and Bungalow style homes.  Real Estate prices have not

The Marisol Oceanside community is now starting to release new construction homes to the general public.  Marisol which is located in the Ocean Ranch neighborhood offers a unique twist for a brand new community with homes built with equestrian style lots that feature white picket horse fences and large front and back yards.  It was only a couple months ago when we saw these homes homes become available and were pleasantly surprised on the interior quality of the houses.  These are modern style homes built in the Mediterranean and Traditional style with vaulted ceilings, gourmet kitchens and generous size rooms.  The most exciting part about this neighborhood is size of the community.  This is a rather small development that's located just off the 76

Oceanside, California has several locations that offer beachfront vacation rentals for lease.  The term "beachfront" is loosely coined as a condo or home that is located next to the beach and not necessarily located directly on the sand.  One of the streets that runs parallel with the beach is commonly known as "The Strand."  The Strand offers a variety of smaller condos that run from the Oceanside Pier to the Oceanside Harbor area.  

One of the largest complex's on the Strand is the San Miguel community.  The San Miguel complex occupies several ocean front blocks on the Strand with a large number of beach close and ocean view condos for sale and for lease.  These condos currently rent between $5,500 to $5,900 a month and are located at 400 N The Strand
