Downtown Oceanside Ocean View Condos

The downtown area of Oceanside is a very vibrant area with small and high rise condo buildings that offer panoramic views of the ocean.  Condos will normally start in the low $400,000 range for a small one bedroom condo located just blocks to the beach and offers peek views of the ocean.  There are several buildings in the downtown area that are worth being aware of when doing your real estate search for an ocean view condo.

The first building is the North Coast Village condo community.  This is almost like a small mini resort that is located directly on the beach and is home to a large number of condos that form around the central community pool area.  This is a gated community with strict entrance for non-residents and features a nice clubhouse, fitness area and spa.  The building has it's own on-site manager and offers direct access to the beach.  Ocean view units start in the mid $400,000 range and currently go as high as $800,000.

The San Miguel complex is another notable building in the downtown area and features multiple complex's that feature ocean view condos.  Ocean View units currently start at around $500,000 and offer the same direct access to the beach which is located on the other side of the Strand.  The Strand is a beach front street that runs parallel with the ocean and starts in the downtown area and runs north towards the North Coast Village condo building.  The San Miguel complex is also gated and offers underground parking and a resort style environment.

The third building is the Oceanside Terraces building which is located directly in the heart of the downtown area and situated three blocks away from the beach.   This is a prominent complex as pictured below that offers roof top ocean views while being a secure gated building with elevator access.  Ocean view units rarely come on the market here but one current listing is available for $730,000 which features two bedrooms and over 2,000 square feet of living space.
