The Villa Trieste adult community is located just off the 78 freeway in Oceanside, California.  This is a very small neighborhood that features attached townhouses that are located on either the lower or upper section of the two story buildings in this community.  The complex was newly built in 1995 and attracted immediate interest for those older than 55 years of age.  One of the reasons for the popularity is the low price point.  A two bedroom, two bath townhouse with over 1,300 square feet can now be purchased for $339,000.  Many of the homes located here include window shutters, air conditioning, fireplace, vaulted ceilings and private patios.  This is a very private community that offers a gated entrance, community pool, spa and recreational area.

Oceanside, California is widely known for it's beach front condos and well priced single family homes when compared to other beach towns in San Diego county.  One unique architectural style known as a "Row Home" is not very common in Southern California unlike other parts of the country where the style is very popular.  Recently in the South Oceanside area two brand new construction row homes have just been completed and came on the market yesterday.  Situated just a couple blocks to the beach is a traditional brick Row home with a Contemporary mix.  The two homes sit side by side and offer huge picture windows on the front of the building.  Once inside you are greeted with high ceilings, lots of windows and beautiful oak hardwood flooring.

Oceanside, California has several locations that offers lake views.  One of the most popular lake views is located in the El Camino Estates area as pictured below.  The views are predominately golf course views but do offer views of the central lake that offering a nice backdrop to the putting greens.  Other notable places in the city include Guajome Lake and Regional Park area that is located in the north east section of Oceanside.  This is a very large preserve area with select homes offering lake views.  Real Estate prices in this area will normally be priced in the mid $500,000 range for a lake view home.  Another notable neighborhood that offers lake views similar to El Camino Estates is the mobile home park called Laguna Vista Mobile Estates.

One of the most beautiful architectural styles that came from the turn of the century is the classic Victorian style.  These homes can be found all throughout the Southern California inland towns by are rarely found still remaining by the beach.  Oceanside, California has a few select Victorian style properties that still exist and retain the historic intergrity when then they were first built in the early 1900's.  A perfect example of this is a Victorian home that is currently for sale and located at 636 Rockledge Street in the historic Seaside neighborhood in Oceanside.  The home was built in 1902 and is well known as the Charles Libby House which is also on the National Register of Historic Places and is pictured below.

The North River Village is one of the few gated condo community in the city of Oceanside.  This is a newer community with townhouse style homes built in 2012 on the northeast side of town near the Camp Pendleton Marine base entrance.  The community was built by Taylor Morrison and is a very small community feature three story Spanish style townhouses near the 76 freeway and College Blvd in Oceanside.  This is a great area near the Mission Marketplace shopping center with an easy 10 minute drive to the 5 freeway and the beach.

The Avalon condo community is centrally located in the beach community of Oceanside and is approximately just over one mile to the beach.  For those looking for a newer style complex in the mid $200,000 range the Avalon complex has a lot to offer.  The two to three bedroom condos are one story units located on either the lower or upper level.  The upper level units will offer vaulted ceilings and decks while the ground floor units will offer private patios.  The floor plans are really great and incorporates a living room fireplace, interior washer/dryer and a detached one car garage.  Real Estate prices have been very consistent in the last several years with two and three bedroom units selling in the mid $250,000 range.  Living here has it's benefits as

The Oceanside Terraces condo building in located directly in the middle of the downtown area and just a couple blocks to the beach.  The building has a rich history when they were first built in 2007 and offers six floors of condo living.  It was marketed as a six story mixed-use urban building in the heart of the Oceanside Village area with retail stores and restaurants on the first level and office condominiums on the 2nd floor with residential condos from floors three to six.  There are a total of 38 luxury single level condos located in this building that offers private terraces, high ceilings and large picture windows.  Condos come with underground parking and a large entertainment deck located on the roof level.

Rarely do these beach front homes ever come on the market in Oceanside.  These small beach cottages on the famous Strand street in Oceanside are known as Roberts Cottages and have existed north of the Oceanside Pier for nearly 100 years.  There are a total of 24 homes located here that are literally steps to the sand as pictured below.  A set of 12 cottages are lined up on the front row with another 12 homes located directly behind them.  A new listing just came on the market located on the front row and features one bedroom and listed for $650,000.  Built in 1928, the cottage is very small and spans 288 square feet of living space.  Back in the time that these were built they dedicated as vacation cottages for those who live in the Los Angeles and San
