Oceanside, California has several locations that offers lake views.  One of the most popular lake views is located in the El Camino Estates area as pictured below.  The views are predominately golf course views but do offer views of the central lake that offering a nice backdrop to the putting greens.  Other notable places in the city include Guajome Lake and Regional Park area that is located in the north east section of Oceanside.  This is a very large preserve area with select homes offering lake views.  Real Estate prices in this area will normally be priced in the mid $500,000 range for a lake view home.  Another notable neighborhood that offers lake views similar to El Camino Estates is the mobile home park called Laguna Vista Mobile Estates.

One of the most beautiful architectural styles that came from the turn of the century is the classic Victorian style.  These homes can be found all throughout the Southern California inland towns by are rarely found still remaining by the beach.  Oceanside, California has a few select Victorian style properties that still exist and retain the historic intergrity when then they were first built in the early 1900's.  A perfect example of this is a Victorian home that is currently for sale and located at 636 Rockledge Street in the historic Seaside neighborhood in Oceanside.  The home was built in 1902 and is well known as the Charles Libby House which is also on the National Register of Historic Places and is pictured below.

The North River Village is one of the few gated condo community in the city of Oceanside.  This is a newer community with townhouse style homes built in 2012 on the northeast side of town near the Camp Pendleton Marine base entrance.  The community was built by Taylor Morrison and is a very small community feature three story Spanish style townhouses near the 76 freeway and College Blvd in Oceanside.  This is a great area near the Mission Marketplace shopping center with an easy 10 minute drive to the 5 freeway and the beach.
