With real estate prices on the rise here by the beach in San Diego county many are turning to purchase lower priced manufactured homes.  Oceanside has many mobile home communities to choose from that are located all throughout the city.  For those looking to be located near the beach on the ocean side of the 5 freeway there are a couple parks to consider.

The La Salina mobile home community is located approximately two blocks to the beach and is limited to those who are older than 55 years of age.  It's not uncommon to find a two bedroom home located here for around $125,000 which is an incredible price considering you are located so close to the beach.  Normal residential condos in this area will start in the low $400,000 so there is a lot of savings

The complex was built in 1984 and features a nice community pool, spa and racquetball court.  These are nice open floor plan townhouses with all bedrooms located upstairs with a small outdoor patio area. Oceanside, California Harbor area is home to a few select condo buildings located just steps to the water and the beach.  The Harbor area is a very touristy area filled with great seafood restaurants and small boutique retail stores that sell a wide variety of tourist style items.  Situated on the ocean side of the freeway is a small street known as "Harbor Drive" that features a tall 17 floor building known as Marina Towers.  Closer to the beach is another small condo complex that is literally just steps to the sandy beach.  Both of these buildings can offer both water and ocean views as well as overlook the Harbor area.
