With real estate prices on the rise here by the beach in San Diego county many are turning to purchase lower priced manufactured homes.  Oceanside has many mobile home communities to choose from that are located all throughout the city.  For those looking to be located near the beach on the ocean side of the 5 freeway there are a couple parks to consider.

The La Salina mobile home community is located approximately two blocks to the beach and is limited to those who are older than 55 years of age.  It's not uncommon to find a two bedroom home located here for around $125,000 which is an incredible price considering you are located so close to the beach.  Normal residential condos in this area will start in the low $400,000 so there is a lot of savings

Located in the downtown area of Oceanside is a boutique ocean view condo building called "Nevada Manor."  Finalized in the fall of 2007, a total of 15 luxury three bedroom condos were constructed that start at 1,650 and go up to 2,200 square feet.   At the time there were built the builder wanted to add nice upgrades like living room fireplaces, private outdoor balcony and inside laundry room.  Many of the units have wonderful ocean views and the location it just a little over 6 blocks to the Pacific Ocean and the Oceanside Pier.  In additon to the wonderful views the complex offers a nice fitness and recreational room.  There is even a bonus roof top deck that offers panoramic views from all angels.  Parking is always a premium when living in the

There is a brand new community in Oceanside known as "Viewpointe" located just blocks to the Oceanside Pier area.  For those familiar with Oceanside this is the same location where the Oceanside Village Complex was located.  Oceanside Village condo complex was newly built between 2007 to 2008 and offered a Contemporary modern themed building.  Viewpointe features two to three bedroom condos that are currently priced between $620,000 to $696,000.  Located at 401 N Coast Highway, the two bedroom condos currently listed for sale offer 1,323 to 1,400 square feet of living space with all units offering roof top ocean view decks. 3 bedroom penthouse units can feature over 1,800 square feet and are expected to be listed in the upcoming months.  Monthly

Nestled in the Northeast section of Oceanside in the heart of the North Valley is a small residential community commonly known as "The Crest."  Better known as "The Crest at Whelan Ranch" is a collection of single family homes north of the 76 Freeway near Camp Pendleton.  These are considered perfect family homes that come with four distinct floor plans that typically feature high vaulted ceilings, two to three car garages and large master suites.  Some of the floor plans incorporate a main floor bedroom and bath which is very popular with those looking for a Master Bedroom on the lower level.  Other floor plans incorporate a very open floor plan with combined rooms that include kitchen, living and dining room areas.

Riverview Townhomes in Oceanside are located on North River Road with every unit offering two bedrooms and two baths. The complex was built in 1984 and features a nice community pool, spa and racquetball court.  These are nice open floor plan townhouses with all bedrooms located upstairs with a small outdoor patio area. Oceanside, California Harbor area is home to a few select condo buildings located just steps to the water and the beach.  The Harbor area is a very touristy area filled with great seafood restaurants and small boutique retail stores that sell a wide variety of tourist style items.  Situated on the ocean side of the freeway is a small street known as "Harbor Drive" that features a tall 17 floor building known as Marina Towers.  Closer to the beach is another small condo complex that is literally just steps to the sandy beach.  Both of these buildings can offer both water and ocean views as well as overlook the Harbor area.

Brand new homes are being built in the St. Cloud community by Taylor Morrison home builder.  The properties are attached townhouses that are currently under constructed and slated to be completed in 2016.  St. Cloud has a lot of history to it and was first constructed in 2008 right before the housing market went under.  For many years the construction was halted and it was only recently that the Taylor Morrison company moved forward with construction in this private gated community.  The plans are for a total of 96 townhouses that will range from 1,470 to 1,933 square feet of living space.  These are open floor plans that will feature two to three bedroom floor plans with various architectural styles.  Some of the features that can be found in this

700 South Strand Is one of the newest communities in Oceanside to recently offer ocean front homes are located directly on the beach.  Situated on the beach front street called "The Strand" is a collection of water front condos that were built in 2016 and offer two to three bedroom floor plans that range up to 2,327 square feet of living space.  The location is just south of the Oceanside Pier and offers true beach front living with 17 attached homes to choose from.  These are luxury two story townhouses that offer outdoor balconies, full sliding glass balcony doors, large master suites with walk-in closets and high-end finishes.  The association rules dictate that the home can be rented but must be for a minimum period of 7 days.  Real Estate prices
