The downtown area of Oceanside is a very vibrant area with small and high rise condo buildings that offer panoramic views of the ocean.  Condos will normally start in the low $400,000 range for a small one bedroom condo located just blocks to the beach and offers peek views of the ocean.  There are several buildings in the downtown area that are worth being aware of when doing your real estate search for an ocean view condo.

The first building is the North Coast Village condo community.  This is almost like a small mini resort that is located directly on the beach and is home to a large number of condos that form around the central community pool area.  This is a gated community with strict entrance for non-residents and features a nice clubhouse,

The Dixie Village is one of the newest communities in the Oceanside area with two story homes that are currently under construction.  There is a total of 3 different floor plans that will be offered here that will feature three to five bedrooms and range from 1,961 to 2,471 square feet.  A total of 35 detached residential homes will be built here that offer a lot of unique selling points.  One of the best features is location of the garage which is situated in the back of the lot.  This is often not done here by the beach but offers better curb appeal as the garage can't be seen from the street level.

The Dixie Village community has a great concept with central courtyards and classic Mediterranean and Bungalow style homes.  Real Estate prices have not

The Marisol Oceanside community is now starting to release new construction homes to the general public.  Marisol which is located in the Ocean Ranch neighborhood offers a unique twist for a brand new community with homes built with equestrian style lots that feature white picket horse fences and large front and back yards.  It was only a couple months ago when we saw these homes homes become available and were pleasantly surprised on the interior quality of the houses.  These are modern style homes built in the Mediterranean and Traditional style with vaulted ceilings, gourmet kitchens and generous size rooms.  The most exciting part about this neighborhood is size of the community.  This is a rather small development that's located just off the 76
