Oceanside has always been known for having some of the most attractive price points for homes located near the beach in San Diego county.  Lot sizes in many neighborhoods can be very generous size with lots over 10,000 square feet.  For Southern California this is considered a large lot as land is very valuable and expensive, especially near the beach.  There are certain neighborhoods that we recommend to our clients who are looking for homes with a little bit of land attached to them.  Different neighborhoods will have different price points depending on the location and condition of the home.  One of the places near the beach is the Loma Alta neighborhoods that has many homes that were built in the 1960's and 70's.  These are typically one story ranch
