Costa Serena Oceanside Rentals

Costa Serena is a wonderful 55+ community in Oceanside located just north of the 78 freeway. While many residents enjoy living here not everyone can afford to purchase a home with real estate prices in the mid $400,000 range. A great alternative is to find a rental home in this community to see if you like living here. There are certain restrictions when doing so as you must be older than 55 years of age to live here. These are duplex style homes that often feature less than 1,000 square feet with many original homes from the mid 1970's.
Current rental prices for Costa Serena homes run between $1,800 to $1,850 for a two bedroom home. One home is being offer for $1,800 with features two bedrooms, one bath with an estimated 827 square feet. This particular home has been remolded with newer kitchen cabinetry accented with nice granite counters. Other upgrades include new flooring and new paint on both the inside and outside of the home. The landlord is asking for someone with no pets and that doesn't smoke. The other home listed at $1,850 a month offers panoramic views. This home has also been remolded with new pergo flooring and dual pane windows installed. Included in the sale is the owner's refrigerator and washer/dryer. This particular landlord is also asking for someone that doesn't have any pets and that doesn't smoke. Both of these are long term rentals which normally means the owner is asking for a 12 month lease. Expect to find security deposits around the same amount as the first months rent.
