One of the best kept secrets in Oceanside is the very small community of Rosedale.  This neighborhood is only located on two streets and has some of the best prices for homes that can average over 1,800 square feet of living space.  The location is situated on Diamante Way street which is located in the Southern section of the Rancho Del Oro area of Oceanside and just north of the 78 freeway.  On average, we typically see two or three listings come up every year and right now there are two available homes for sale.  They both have the exact same floor plan of 1,830 square feet with a total 3 bedrooms and two and a half baths. 271 Diamante was built in 2000 and is currently on the market for $675,000.  309 Diamanté's Way was built in 2001 and is current on

One of the latest trends for real estate buyers is buying a home that has been completely remolded.  We started noticing this many years ago as buyers were no longer interested in taking on a project of a home that needed some work.  Savvy buyers are looking for homes that have a lot of upgrades and that are competitively priced as well.   COVID19 has really changed a lot about the real estate market in the last several months.  There are a lot of buyers out looking for homes since interest mortgage rates are some of the lowest that they have ever been.  The biggest problem right now is finding a suitable home.  Because of COVID19 the inventory of Oceanside homes has gone down which causes more buyers to be interested in any new properties that come on

One of the popular Oceanside older communities that features no homeowners association dues is the Driftwood Terrace neighborhood.  Homes in this neighborhood were often built in the late 1970's and feature detached single family homes located just north of the 78 freeway.  The community itself is actually pretty small with homes located east of College Blvd.  Homes in this community rarely come on the market due to the limited inventory of properties here.  The location is located within a very short drive to many restaurants and shopping located along the 78 freeway.  It's also within a short distance to the Mira Costa College and the brand new Preserve community in Oceanside.

One of our most often requests from clients who are looking to relocate to Oceanside is where to find rentals near the Camp Pendleton Marine Base.  There is a large population of Marines who live in the Oceanside area for a variety of reasons.  First, the entrance to Camp Pendleton has two locations, one at the very north end near San Clemente and another one on the south end located in Oceanside.  To go from one end of Camp Pendleton to the other takes around 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic on the 5 freeway.  Living near the gated entrance makes a lot of sense and cuts down on travel time.  Another reason why many pick Oceanside over other towns is that it's more affordable to live when compared with other beach towns in San Diego county.  This is

One of the more popular golf courses in Oceanside, California is the Emerald Isle golf course and the homes that surround them.  The course was originally built in the mid 1960's in conjunction with the Oceana community as pictured below.  The course was built with 9 holes but fell into disarray until the mid 1980's when it was expanded to 18 holes and reopened under the name Emerald Isle Golf Course.  The homes around the golf course still remain and consist of Oceana and Oceana South neighborhoods.  The community is one of the most affordable 55+ neighborhoods in Oceanside but has strict rules that don't allow you to rent it out until after one year of ownership.  It's really an ideal place to live with golf course views and low homeowners association
